Is the convenience fee taken out of my menu price?
No. The convenience fee is added on top of your menu price — the parent pays it, not you. If your shave ice is $3.75, the parent pays $4.75 (founding) or $5.25 (standard). You receive your full $3.75. Stripe processing fees come out of the convenience fee, not your payout.
What does the onboarding fee actually cover?
The $149 (founding) or $199 (standard) one-time fee gets you a fully branded vendor portal, your own event link, teacher-grouped order dashboard, CSV export, print views, and Stripe Connect setup. After that, zero monthly fees — ever.
Do I have to be selling desserts? Can I use ScoopPass for anything else?
No — any product works. Upload a photo and description of whatever you’re fundraising with (treats, crafts, spirit wear, plants, anything) and ScoopPass turns it into a pre-pay link. It’s especially popular for shave ice, hot cocoa, bakery boxes, and school/community treat days — but the platform works for any product-based fundraiser.
How does the money get to me?
Payments deposit directly into your connected Stripe account. ScoopPass never holds your money. Standard Stripe payout schedule applies (typically 2 business days).
What if I have a slow month? Will I still get charged?
No. There are no monthly fees, ever. You only pay the one-time onboarding fee. After that, the only ScoopPass cost is the per-order convenience fee — and the parent pays that, not you.
Is the founding rate really locked for life?
Yes. If you sign up as a founding vendor before 2027, your $1.00 per-order convenience fee is locked for as long as you use ScoopPass. We will not raise it on founding vendors. Starting 2027, new vendors join at the $199 / $1.50 standard rate.
